HMVEC-L, Lung Microvascular Endothelial Cells
Product Overview

Lonza's Lung Microvascular Endothelial Cells include cells isolated from small vessels within normal lung tissue that are cultured to be ≥90% pure and specifically enriched for lung LECs and BECs. Lung microvascular cells, CC-2527 (HMVEC-L), are a mixed population of both blood (HMVEC-LBl) and lymphatic (HMVEC-LLy) endothelial cells.                                              

Additional donor characteristics including hypertension, or smoking history may be available by contacting Scientific Support. 

Cryopreserved Clonetics^TM Lung Microvascular Endothelial Cells are guaranteed through 15 population doublings, express CD31/105, von Williebrand Factor VIII, are positive for acetyated low density lipoprotein uptake, and are PECAM positive.  All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysi is provided for each cell lot purchased.
